Allen Wyatt, an internationally recognized expert in small computer systems, has been working in the computer and publishing industries for almost two decades. He has written more than 35 books explaining many different facets of working with computers, as well as numerous magazine articles. His books have covered topics ranging from programming languages to using application software to using operating systems. Through the written word, Allen has helped millions of readers learn how to better use computers.
Besides writing books, Allen has helped educate thousands of individuals through seminars and lectures about computers. He has presented seminars and lectures throughout the United States, as well as throughout Mexico and Costa Rica. His books, which often form the basis of his presentations, have been translated into many languages besides English, including Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Spanish.
Allen is the president of Discovery Computing Inc., a computer and publishing services company located in Mesa, Arizona. Besides writing books and technical materials, he helps further the computer book industry by providing consulting and production services.
